Featuring @thredUP, your new favorite online thrift store.
It’s one thing when you score a vintage find at your local thrift store. It’s a whole other story when you find a new item at a thrift store price. Don’t get me wrong, I love shifting through racks of commercial closets to find a treasure piece. However, for someone as picky and small as me, it’s miraculous to have online stores like thredUP with a bounty of filters to help with the hunt.
It’s an added bonus that you can quickly shift through their wide variety of clothes with a few clicks. They carry mostly everything from designer clothing (ex.: The Row, Kate Spade) to clothes from larger chains (Free People, F21, H&M.)
The best filter, in my opinion, is their “condition” filter. I always filter through the new items first, and if I want something that bad, I’ll settle for like-new. The like-new items also come with a description of what makes it like-new: a scratch, a couple signs of wear and tear, etc.
I got this Free People top and Marc Jacobs fold-over clutch for more than 60% off retail price, and the best part was the buying process: quick, hassle-free, and tailored to my taste.

A slouchy white button up is something I’ve been yearning to add to my closet for an extensive amount of time. I’m so happy that I was able to find one so quickly and with quality that I know will last me for more than a few seasons. Find out more about thredUP here.
